My name is Baylee Munro.
I'm a professional swim coach.
10 years ago, I was a university-level swimmer.
I wasn't anything special. I never qualified for Nationals.
But I was hungry to learn as much as I could about swimming.
So I got into coaching: part-time, and eventually full-time.
Along the way, I picked up a Master's degree in Coaching.
I completed the highest possible levels of certifications.
I even did original research to help advance the sport.
And I continued to learn as much as I possibly could.
Soon enough, I climbed the ladder to become a head coach.
Within one year, I had a swimmer at the Paris Olympics.
At the games, they won their heat in a new lifetime best.
I was hooked to competing at the highest level.
As challenging as it is to make the Olympics...
Almost 1,000 swimmers make it every 4 years!
Over 10,000 swimmers have etched their name as Olympians.
Someone has to represent their country - why not you?
. . .
I still consider myself to be an Olympic Hopeful.
Not as a swimmer, but as a coach at the Olympics.
I'm still chasing the dream, just like every young swimmer.
But I've already had one swimmer make it.
And I'm just getting started.
Follow along - and take part in the journey yourself.
